Copyright on Codecita
Codecita lets groups agree on times and priorities. People enter their own titles, descriptions and lists. If something on Codecita infringes your copyright, this page tells you how to have it taken down, and tells the person who posted it how to answer.
To report infringement
Write to our designated agent:
DMCA Agent, Gavry LLC
1001 Wade Avenue, Suite 327, Raleigh, NC 27605
919-267-8020 · trust@gavry.com
Tell us, in the notice:
- what work of yours has been copied;
- what on Codecita copies it, with its web address;
- how to reach you: address, telephone and email;
- that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
- that what you have told us is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the copyright or are authorized to act for the owner;
- your signature, handwritten or typed.
What we do with a notice
We take the content down promptly. We tell the person who posted it and give them your notice, including your contact details.
If you posted the content
If you think it was taken down by mistake, or was wrongly identified, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent. It needs:
- your signature;
- what was removed, and where it was;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number;
- your agreement that the federal district court for your address may hear the matter (if you live outside the United States, any district where Gavry LLC may be found), and that you will accept legal papers from the person who complained.
We pass your counter-notice to the person who complained. Unless they tell us they’ve gone to court over it, we put the content back between 10 and 14 business days after we received your counter-notice.
People who infringe repeatedly
We keep a record of the notices we receive about each account. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.
Please be accurate
The law makes anyone who knowingly makes a false claim, in a notice or a counter-notice, liable for the damage it causes.
